Thomas Alonso, CFA

Thomas Alonso is Vice President of Investor Relations and has more than 10 years’ experience in equity research. Prior to joining Prospect in 2015, he was Vice President Senior Analyst at Macquarie on its US Banks team, responsible for research coverage of a broad universe of US based banks. He was previously the financial services industry analyst for First Investors Management Company and a research associate at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC covering banks. Tom received a BBA in Finance from Baruch College in 2000 and is a CFA charterholder.



Mariana Bush

Mariana Bush is the Head of closed-end fund (CEF) and exchange-traded tracking product (ETP) research in ASG providing Financial Advisors and their clients with individual security recommendations in the CEF and ETP universes. Mariana began her career at Furman Selz in New York as an associate analyst following technology companies long before the Internet became a household name. She joined the firm in 1991 as an analyst in Investment Strategy for Wachovia Securities. Mariana began following CEFs in 1993, and she assumed coverage of ETPs in the late 1990s. Mariana has been widely quoted in publications such as Barron’s, Bloomberg, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. She received her B.S.E. in the Civil Engineering and Operations Research department from Princeton University.
 

Larry Holzenthaler
Investment Strategist — Symphony Asset Management, Nuveen


Larry Holzenthaler is an investment strategist and is a member of the Symphony Asset Management fixed-income team. His responsibilities include generating investment ideas, credit research, and product development. Prior to joining Symphony in 2007, Mr. Holzenthaler was an Analyst with Nuveen Investments in New York, helping to develop new closed-end fund products. Previously, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Dahlman Rose & Co and an Equity Analyst at NSL Capital Management. Mr. Holzenthaler received a BS in finance and mathematics from Arizona State University.

Anne Kritzmire oversees strategic marketing and support, financial advisor and investor education, industry relations and comprehensive data services for Nuveen Investments’ family of closed-end funds and exchange-traded commodity products. She leads an integrated program of advisor and investor support activities, including the award-winning websites www.CEFconnect.com and www.nuveen.com/cef, as well as advertising, educational initiatives, analyst relations and sales support. She has been quoted extensively in business media such as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and InvestmentNews. She has also appeared on NBC, Bloomberg Television and Morningstar.com. Ms. Kritzmire joined Nuveen Investments in 1999 as vice president and director, client development, to develop the firm’s customer relationship management strategy across multiple product platforms and sales channels.
   

Sangeeta Marfatia
Senior Closed-End Fund Strategist — UBS

Sangeeta covers closed-end funds for UBS Wealth Management Research - Americas. She joined the Closed-End Funds group in 2002 after serving as an associate in the paper and forest products group. Before , joining UBS Sangeeta worked at Deloitte as a senior manager in its mergers and acquisition services unit from 1998 to 2000, and earlier as a manager in the securities unit. With over 9 years of experience in the closed end fund sector, Sangeeta’s expertise has been featured on Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Financial Times and Smart Money magazine. Sangeeta Marfatia holds an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.B.A. in accounting from Baruch College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
   

Jonathan Morgan

Jonathan Morgan is principal of Morgan Meighan & Associates and President and CEO of Canadian General Investments, Limited and Canadian World Fund Limited. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the industry. In addition to being the lead investor relations representative, his responsibilities include portfolio management, strategic planning, business development and security analysis. Jonathan is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM).



F. Barry Nelson, CFA

F. Barry Nelson is a Partner of Advent Capital Management, LLC, who retired in 2013 but continues to serve as a Consultant to the firm. During his 17 years as Senior VP and Co-Portfolio Manager of Advent, he contributed to the creation, management and marketing of the firm’s three NYSE-listed closed-end funds and other key strategies, and Advent’s AUM grew from under $100 million to several billion dollars. Barry also spent 17 years at Value Line, serving as Lead Manager of the Value Line Convertible Fund and Research Director of the Value Line Convertibles Survey. He led the creation of five open-end funds at Value Line. Barry began his investment career at Value Line in 1972 as an Analyst Trainee. He earned a BA at New York University, an MBA at St. John’s University, and a Certificate in Bond Portfolio Management & Analysis at the University of Illinois. Barry is a CFA® charterholder. He served in the US Army in Europe.



Yoojeong Oh, CFA
Investment Manager — Aberdeen Asset Management

Yoojeong Oh is an Investment Manager on the Asian Equities Team. She joined Aberdeen in 2005 and was initially a member of the UK and European Equities Team in London before moving to Singapore. Yoojeong holds an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and is a CFA® charterholder.



Ed Russell
Managing Director — Tortoise Capital Advisors

Ed Russell joined Tortoise Capital in 2006. Since joining the firm, Mr. Russell has participated in marketing all of Tortoise’s new closed- and open-end funds. He served as president of Tortoise Capital Resources (TTO) from April 2007 to June 2012. Mr. Russell serves as a director for Abraxas Petroleum Corp. (NASDAQ: AXAS). Previously, Mr. Russell was a managing director at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Inc., where he headed the energy and power group. At Stifel, Mr. Russell was responsible for all energy and power transactions, including all of the debt and equity transactions for the Tortoise funds, starting with the first fund’s initial public equity offering in February 2004.
