Larry Antonatos
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager — Brookfield Investment Management

Larry Antonatos is responsible for the development and growth of the firm’s new and existing investment strategies. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Antonatos was a portfolio manager for a US REIT strategy for ten years, managing $6 billion in assets. Mr. Antonatos also has ten years of investment experience with property, CMBS, and mortgage loans. He began his career as a civil engineer, designing transportation infrastructure. Mr. Antonatos earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.

Robert Bush, Jr.
Senior Vice President, Director of Closed-End Fund Products — Calamos Investments

As director of closed-end fund products, Bob Bush is responsible for optimizing the firm’s closed-end fund business. He acts as a liaison for the firm, communicating with the investor, research and brokerage communities about the Calamos closed-end funds. In addition, Mr. Bush works closely with the Calamos executive, investment, marketing and distribution teams regarding product development, strategy and enhancements for new and established closed-end funds. He joined the firm in 2012 and has 29 years of industry experience.

Mariana Bush, CFA
Head of CEF/ETP Research — Wells Fargo Advisors

Mariana Bush is the Head of closed-end fund (CEF) and exchange-traded tracking product (ETP) research in ASG providing Financial Advisors and their clients with individual security recommendations in the CEF and ETP universes. Mariana began her career at Furman Selz in New York as an associate analyst following technology companies long before the Internet became a household name. She joined the firm in 1991 as an analyst in Investment Strategy for Wachovia Securities. Mariana began following CEFs in 1993, and she assumed coverage of ETPs in the late 1990s. Mariana has been widely quoted in publications such as Barron’s, Bloomberg, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. She received her B.S.E. in the Civil Engineering and Operations Research department from Princeton University.

Michael Cimini
Head of Investor Relations — Prospect Capital Corporation

Michael is the Head of Investor Relations and has more than 15 years of investor relations (“IR”) experience. Prior to joining Prospect in 2014, Michael was a Managing Director at The IGB Group, a boutique financial communications firm where he developed and executed comprehensive IR programs for specialty finance companies. From 2001 to 2006, he served as Vice President at KCSA Strategic Communications, a full-service communications agency. Michael received a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College in New York. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Jon Diorio
Managing Director — BlackRock

Jon is responsible for US retail product management, development and strategy within Blackrock’s US Wealth Advisory division.  In addition, Jon is responsible for overseeing BlackRock’s Closed-End Fund business. Prior to joining BlackRock, Jon held various roles at DWS Investments, the asset management arm of Deutsche Bank.  Most recently, Jon was a Director in DWS’s retail sales division. In previous roles, Jon was head of closed-end funds for DWS, along with a portfolio specialist for DWS’s alternative mutual funds. Jon earned a BA degree in Finance from Loyola University and an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance and Economics from NYU- Stern School of Business.  In addition, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through the Investment Management Consultants Association in conjunction with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Jon has his series 6,63,7,and 24 licenses.

Larry Holzenthaler
Investment Strategist — Symphony Asset Management, Nuveen Investments

Larry Holzenthaler is an investment strategist and is a member of the Symphony Asset Management fixed-income team. His responsibilities include generating investment ideas, credit research, and product development. Prior to joining Symphony in 2007, Mr. Holzenthaler was an Analyst with Nuveen Investments in New York, helping to develop new closed-end fund products. Previously, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Dahlman Rose & Co and an Equity Analyst at NSL Capital Management. Mr. Holzenthaler received a BS in finance and mathematics from Arizona State University.

Jonathan Isaac
Vice President, Director of Product Management — Eaton Vance

Jonathan G.G. Isaac is a Vice President of Eaton Vance Distributors, where he is Director of Product Management which includes oversight of all of Eaton Vance’s open –end, closed-end fund and SMA products, and the firm’s research and analytics team. In addition to being responsible for the product management team he is responsible for the company’s relationships with closed-end fund research analysts, specialist firms and all fund communications as well being involved in new product development.  Mr. Isaac joined Eaton Vance in 1994 and has held a variety of managerial positions in the firm’s Operations, Marketing and high-net-worth Investment Counsel groups. His involvement with closed-end fund products dates back to 2004 and has coincided with dramatic growth in the firm’s closed-end fund assets under management.  He is regularly quoted in financial publications on topics related to closed-end funds.  Mr. Isaac is a graduate of University College, London in his native United Kingdom.

Rob Kapito
President — BlackRock

Rob Kapito is President and a Director of BlackRock, a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the Global Operating Committee. He is responsible for day-to-day oversight of all BlackRock’s key operating units including Investment Strategies, Client Businesses, Strategic Product Management, Technology & Operations, and Risk & Quantitative Analysis. Mr. Kapito is also a Director of iShares Inc. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities in 2007, Mr. Kapito served as Head of BlackRock’s Portfolio Management Group. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all portfolio management within BlackRock, including the Fixed Income, Equity, Liquidity, and Alternative Investment Groups. Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, Mr. Kapito was a Vice President in the Mortgage Products Group at The First Boston Corporation.

Anne Kritzmire oversees strategic marketing and support, financial advisor and investor education, industry relations and comprehensive data services for Nuveen Investments’ family of closed-end funds and exchange-traded commodity products. She leads an integrated program of advisor and investor support activities, including the award-winning websites and, as well as advertising, educational initiatives, analyst relations and sales support. She has been quoted extensively in business media such as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and InvestmentNews. She has also appeared on NBC, Bloomberg Television and Ms. Kritzmire joined Nuveen Investments in 1999 as vice president and director, client development, to develop the firm’s customer relationship management strategy across multiple product platforms and sales channels.

Elias Lanik
Senior Closed-End Fund Analyst — BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research

Elias Lanik is the senior Closed-End Fund analyst at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research.  In this role, he publishes a variety of reports on macro themes and individual CEFs, providing ratings across the Closed-End Fund sectors and helping financial advisors and their clients navigate the Closed-End Fund universe. He was voted best research analyst for closed-end funds in 2014 and 2015 by Capital Link. Before joining the Closed-End Fund group, Lanik covered Exchange Traded Funds and worked in the US Technical and Market Analysis group within BofAML Global Research.

Patrick Maldari
Senior Investment Specialist — Aberdeen Asset Management

Patrick Maldari is a Senior Investment Specialist on the North American team based in New York, working in a client facing role. Patrick joined Aberdeen in May 2013 following the acquisition of Artio Global Management. From 2008 – 2013, Patrick held a similar role with Artio Global Management’s investment team. Prior to that, he spent twenty-two years at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers where he rose to become a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for managing the institutional and retail business with assets in excess of $27 billion. In addition he was also responsible for asset allocation and derivatives overlay for their retail and institutional business. Patrick graduated with a BS from Montclair State University and is a CFA charterholder.

Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the industry. F. Barry Nelson is a Partner of Advent Capital Management, LLC, who retired in 2013 but continues to serve as a Consultant to the firm. During his 17 years as Senior VP and Co-Portfolio Manager of Advent, he contributed to the creation, management and marketing of the firm’s three NYSE-listed closed-end funds and other key strategies, and Advent’s AUM grew from under $100 million to several billion dollars. Barry also spent 17 years at Value Line, serving as Lead Manager of the Value Line Convertible Fund and Research Director of the Value Line Convertibles Survey. He led the creation of five open-end funds at Value Line. Barry began his investment career at Value Line in 1972 as an Analyst Trainee. He earned a BA at New York University, an MBA at St. John’s University, and a Certificate in Bond Portfolio Management & Analysis at the University of Illinois. Barry is a CFA® charterholder. He served in the US Army in Europe.

Ed Russell
Managing Director — Tortoise Capital Advisors, LLC

Ed Russell joined Tortoise Capital in 2006. Since joining the firm, Mr. Russell has participated in marketing all of Tortoise’s new closed- and open-end funds. He served as president of Tortoise Capital Resources (TTO) from April 2007 to June 2012. Mr. Russell serves as a director for Abraxas Petroleum Corp. (NASDAQ: AXAS). Previously, Mr. Russell was a managing director at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Inc., where he headed the energy and power group. At Stifel, Mr. Russell was responsible for all energy and power transactions, including all of the debt and equity transactions for the Tortoise funds, starting with the first fund’s initial public equity offering in February 2004.
