Thomas Alonso, CFA
Vice President of Investor Relations — Prospect Capital Corporation

Thomas Alonso is Vice President of Investor Relations and has more than 10 years’ experience in equity research. Prior to joining Prospect in 2015, he was Vice President Senior Analyst at Macquarie on its US Banks team, responsible for research coverage of a broad universe of US based banks. He was previously the financial services industry analyst for First Investors Management Company and a research associate at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC covering banks. Tom received a BBA in Finance from Baruch College in 2000 and is a CFA charterholder.




Larry Antonatos
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager — Brookfield Investment Management

Larry Antonatos is responsible for the development and growth of the firm’s new and existing investment strategies. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Antonatos was a portfolio manager for a US REIT strategy for ten years, managing $6 billion in assets. Mr. Antonatos also has ten years of investment experience with property, CMBS, and mortgage loans. He began his career as a civil engineer, designing transportation infrastructure. Mr. Antonatos earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.



Renee Baker
Senior Manager, CEF Marketing & Investor Relations — Aberdeen Asset Management

Renee Baker develops and executes marketing strategies for Aberdeen Asset Management’s U.S. closed-end fund complex. She also leads the funds’ investor relations program. Renee joined Aberdeen in 2014 from Oppenheimer Funds where she was responsible for institutional marketing. Previously, Renee held senior level marketing roles at Walkers Global in the Cayman Islands and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Renee holds a BS in Finance from Rutgers University, an MBA from Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business and a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing focus from Wilmington University.
 

John Bellows, PhD, CFA
Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Manager — Western Asset (Legg Mason)

John L. Bellows, PhD, is a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst with Western Asset. Prior to joining the Firm in 2012, Mr. Bellows served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, most recently as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy. At Western Asset, he is a member of the US Broad Strategy Committee and the Global Investment Strategy Committee. Mr. Bellows holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

 

Jon Diorio 
Managing Director — BlackRock

Jon is responsible for US retail product management, development and strategy within Blackrock’s US Wealth Advisory division.  In addition, Jon is responsible for overseeing BlackRock’s Closed-End Fund business. Prior to joining BlackRock, Jon held various roles at DWS Investments, the asset management arm of Deutsche Bank.  Most recently, Jon was a Director in DWS’s retail sales division. In previous roles, Jon was head of closed-end funds for DWS, along with a portfolio specialist for DWS’s alternative mutual funds. Jon earned a BA degree in Finance from Loyola University and an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance and Economics from NYU- Stern School of Business.  In addition, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through the Investment Management Consultants Association in conjunction with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Jon has his series 6,63,7,and 24 licenses.
   

Chris Kilpatrick
Portfolio Manager — Western Asset Management Company (Legg Mason)

Christopher F. Kilpatrick is a Portfolio Manager at Western Asset; he joined in the Firm in 2003. Previously Mr. Kilpatrick was a High-Yield Loan Trader and Senior Structure Analyst at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) and worked at GMAC Mortgage Corporation.

Mr. Kilpatrick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.




Anne Kritzmire

Nuveen Investments


Anne Kritzmire oversees strategic marketing and support, financial advisor and investor education, industry relations and comprehensive data services for Nuveen Investments’ family of closed-end funds and exchange-traded commodity products. She leads an integrated program of advisor and investor support activities, including the award-winning websites www.CEFconnect.com and www.nuveen.com/cef, as well as advertising, educational initiatives, analyst relations and sales support. She has been quoted extensively in business media such as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and InvestmentNews. She has also appeared on NBC, Bloomberg Television and Morningstar.com. Ms. Kritzmire joined Nuveen Investments in 1999 as vice president and director, client development, to develop the firm’s customer relationship management strategy across multiple product platforms and sales channels.
   

Stephen Minar
Vice President — BlackRock

Stephen Minar is a member of BlackRock’s Product and Platform Group. Stephen is responsible for overseeing BlackRock’s closed-end fund business. Prior to joining BlackRock, Stephen worked in Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley where he was primarily responsible for the structuring and sale of closed-end fund initial public offerings and secondary market capital issuances. In a previous role at Morgan Stanley, Stephen was a Research Analyst covering both closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds. Stephen received his B.A. from Xavier University, summa cum laude, with a concentration in Finance.
   

Jonathan Morgan
President & CEO — Canadian General Investments, Limited

Jonathan Morgan is principal of Morgan Meighan & Associates and President and CEO of Canadian General Investments, Limited and Canadian World Fund Limited. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the industry. In addition to being the lead investor relations representative, his responsibilities include portfolio management, strategic planning, business development and security analysis. Jonathan is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM).



F. Barry Nelson, CFA
Partner — Advent Capital Management

F. Barry Nelson is a Partner of Advent Capital Management, LLC, who retired in 2013 but continues to serve as a Consultant to the firm. During his 17 years as Senior VP and Co-Portfolio Manager of Advent, he contributed to the creation, management and marketing of the firm’s three NYSE-listed closed-end funds and other key strategies, and Advent’s AUM grew from under $100 million to several billion dollars. Barry also spent 17 years at Value Line, serving as Lead Manager of the Value Line Convertible Fund and Research Director of the Value Line Convertibles Survey. He led the creation of five open-end funds at Value Line. Barry began his investment career at Value Line in 1972 as an Analyst Trainee. He earned a BA at New York University, an MBA at St. John’s University, and a Certificate in Bond Portfolio Management & Analysis at the University of Illinois. Barry is a CFA® charterholder. He served in the US Army in Europe.



Purva Patel, CIMA®
Senior Vice President, Client Portfolio Manager — Nuveen

Purva is a client portfolio manager for Municipal Fixed Income Strategies at Nuveen Asset Management. She supports sales and marketing activity related to all of the firm’s municipal managed money products, including open-end mutual funds, closed-end funds, and privately managed accounts. In this role, she works with portfolio managers to develop and communicate information about the products’ investment teams, process, and performance to institutional and retail analysts and advisers. She also helps explain the complexities of the municipal bond market and the benefits of professional municipal bond management to clients.



Brian Sulley
Vice President — Tortoise Capital Advisors

Brian Sulley joined Tortoise Capital in 2010. He focuses on business and product development. Previously, he served as a Senior Financial Analyst with the Cerner Corp., where he was responsible for financial modeling and analysis across business lines. Brian graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance and a Master of Science in finance. He is a CFA charterholder
