Larry Antonatos
Managing Director—Brookfield Investment Management

Larry Antonatos is responsible for the development and growth of the firm’s new and existing investment strategies. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Antonatos was a portfolio manager for a US REIT strategy for ten years, managing $6 billion in assets. Mr. Antonatos also has ten years of investment experience with property, CMBS, and mortgage loans. He began his career as a civil engineer, designing transportation infrastructure. Mr. Antonatos earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.




Renee Baker
Marketing Manager—Aberdeen Asset Management

Renee Baker is a marketing manager responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for Aberdeen Asset Management’s U.S. closed-end fund complex. She is also responsible for the funds’ investor relations program. She joined Aberdeen in 2014 from OppenheimerFunds where she was responsible for institutional marketing. Renee has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a B.S. from Rutgers University and a M.B.A. from Penn State, Smeal College of Business.




Michael Buchanan
Deputy Chief Investment Officer—Western Asset (Legg Mason)

Michael Buchanan joined Western Asset in 2005. He previously served as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Credit Products at Credit Suisse Asset Management and as Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Janus Capital Management. He also worked at BlackRock Financial Management as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, and at Conseco Capital Management as Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Michael received his bachelor's degree from Brown University.




Amy Charles
Managing Director, Closed-End Fund and ETF Research—Raymond James

Amy Charles, the Managing Director and Director of Closed-End Fund and ETF Research, is responsible for setting general research policy and strategy.  She joined Raymond James Financial in November 1995 and joined the Closed-End Fund Research group in September of 1998.  Prior to joining Closed-End Fund Research, she spent two and a half years in the Equity Research Department.  She has been the Director of Closed-End Fund Research since May of 2000.  She holds a B.A. from Florida Metropolitan University.  Ms. Charles has been quoted in several publications including Business Week and has been a speaker at numerous conferences throughout the year.



Michael Cimini
Head of Investor Relations—Prospect Capital Corporation

Michael Cimini is the Head of Investor Relations and has more than 15 years of investor relations (“IR”) experience. Prior to joining Prospect in 2014, Michael was a Managing Director at The IGB Group, a boutique financial communications firm where he developed and executed comprehensive IR programs for specialty finance companies. From 2001 to 2006, he served as Vice President at KCSA Strategic Communications, a full-service communications agency. Michael received a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College in New York. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.
   

Cara Esser
Senior Analyst & Strategist, Manager Research—Morningstar, Inc.

Cara Esser is a closed-end fund strategist and senior analyst covering fixed-income strategies on Morningstar’s manager research team. She oversees the firm’s closed-end fund research and, in her role as senior analyst, specializes in offerings from asset managers including Lord Abbett, T. Rowe Price, and Calamos. Before assuming her current role in 2013, Esser focused on the closed-end funds universe as a senior analyst. Before joining Morningstar in 2010, Esser was an associate financial analyst for the American Association of Individual Investors, a non-profit investor education organization. Esser holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a master’s degree in business administration from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
   

Ganesh Jois, CFA
Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Energy & Infrastructure Team—Goldman Sachs Asset Management

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2009, Ganesh was a Research Analyst at Citigroup Investment Research covering MLPs for nearly four years. During his time at Citigroup, Ganesh helped initiate coverage on several MLPs and had coverage responsibility for nearly 20 MLPs. Between 2003 and 2005, he worked in the Financial Advisory Services practice of Deloitte & Touche. He holds an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business and received a B.S. from the University of Mumbai, India.
   

Anne Kritzmire
Managing Director, Closed-End Funds & Global Structured Products—Nuveen Investments

Anne Kritzmire oversees strategic marketing and support, financial advisor and investor education, industry relations and comprehensive data services for Nuveen Investments’ family of closed-end funds and exchange-traded commodity products. She leads an integrated program of advisor and investor support activities, including the award-winning websites www.CEFconnect.com and www.nuveen.com/cef, as well as advertising, educational initiatives, analyst relations and sales support. She has been quoted extensively in business media such as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and InvestmentNews. She has also appeared on NBC, Bloomberg Television and Morningstar.com. Ms. Kritzmire joined Nuveen Investments in 1999 as vice president and director, client development, to develop the firm’s customer relationship management strategy across multiple product platforms and sales channels.
   

Rennie McConnochie
Senior Business Development Manager—Aberdeen Asset Management

Rennie McConnochie joined Aberdeen Asset Management in February 2013 as a Senior Business Development Manager working in the closed-end fund area. Rennie has worked in the investment industry for 29 years. Previously, he was responsible for the European Equity business and, later, for investment research in the region for Merrill Lynch. He then became CEO of Bridgewell PLC, an  investment bank in London. Before joining Aberdeen in New York, he was a partner at RP Capital, an investment and advisory company specializing in emerging markets.



Stephen Minar
Vice President—BlackRock

Stephen Minar is a member of BlackRock’s Product and Platform Group. Stephen is responsible for overseeing BlackRock’s closed-end fund business. Prior to joining BlackRock, Stephen worked in Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley where he was primarily responsible for the structuring and sale of closed-end fund initial public offerings and secondary market capital issuances. In a previous role at Morgan Stanley, Stephen was a Research Analyst covering both closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds. Stephen received his B.A. from Xavier University, summa cum laude, with a concentration in Finance.



Jonathan Morgan
President & CEO—Canadian General Investments, Limited

Jonathan Morgan is principal of Morgan Meighan & Associates and President and CEO of Canadian General Investments, Limited and Canadian World Fund Limited. Jonathan has over 10 years’ experience in the industry. In addition to being the lead investor relations representative, his responsibilities include portfolio management, strategic planning, business development and security analysis. Jonathan is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM).



Tim Palmer
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, Head of Global Bonds and Emerging Markets Sectors Teams—Nuveen Investments

Tim oversees Core Plus Strategies and holds several strategic roles at the firm. He is the head of the Global Interest Rates & Governments and the Emerging Markets Sector Teams and a member of the Fixed-Income Strategy Committee, which establishes investment policy for all taxable fixed-income products. As a senior fixed-income portfolio manager, he leads the Global Total Return Bond and Multi-Sector Bond strategies and co-manages the Core Plus Bond strategy, as well as related institutional portfolios. He is also a member of the High-Yield Credit and the Foreign Currency Sector Teams.



Aaron Peck
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Investment Officer—Monroe Capital Corporation


Aaron Peck has been a managing director of Monroe Capital since September 2012, where he is responsible for strategic initiatives. From 2002 to 2003 and from 2004 to June 2011, he worked in various capacities at Deerfield Capital Management LLC, including serving as its Co-Chief Investment Officer and as Managing Director of its Middle Market Lending Group. He also helped establish and served as chief portfolio manager for Deerfield Capital Corp. (fka Deerfield Triarc Capital Corp.), a publicly-traded externally-managed specialty finance hybrid mortgage REIT. For Deerfield Capital Corp., Mr. Peck was the primary point of contact for institutional and retail investors, equity research analysts, investment bankers and lenders. Mr. Peck also served as a member of Deerfield Capital’s Executive Committee, Investment Committee and Risk Management Committee.



Brian Sulley, CFA
Vice President—Tortoise Capital Advisors, LLC

Brian joined Tortoise Capital in 2010. Mr. Sulley focuses on business and product development. Previously, he served as a senior financial analyst with the Cerner Corp., where he was responsible for financial modeling and analysis across business lines. Mr. Sulley graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance and a Master of Science in finance. He is a CFA charterholder.



Christopher Warren
Managing Director—Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management

Christopher Warren rejoined the company in 2006 with twelve years of industry experience. Prior to his current role, Chris was Head of Active-Global Client Group for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for Active product strategy and development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Virginia Tech, Master of Arts in International Relations from University of Kent and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
