New York, November 14, 2008 -- The board of directors of Global High Income Fund Inc. (NYSE: GHI) has set Friday, December 19, 2008 as the record date for determination of the shareholders entitled to vote at the Fund's annual meeting of shareholders, to be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009. The matter to be considered at the annual meeting is the election of directors.
