Managed High Yield Plus Fund Announces Record Date for Shareholder Meeting

New York, June 09, 2006 -- The board of directors of Managed High Yield Plus Fund Inc. (HYF) has set Friday, July 21, 2006 as the record date for determination of the shareholders entitled to vote at the Fund's annual meeting of shareholders, to be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006. The matter to be considered at the annual meeting is the election of directors.
