Tom Dinsmore is the Portfolio Manager of Bancroft Fund Ltd. (BCV) and Ellsworth Fund Ltd. (ECF) and Chairman of Dinsmore Capital Management (the adviser to the funds). He joined the firm in 1983 after spending two years at Morgan Stanley & Co. on their convertible arbitrage desk. In 1986, Dinsmore became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is President of the Closed-End Fund Association, a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and the CFA Institute and is also amember of the Closed-End Fund Subcommittee of the Investment Company Institute.
